Russia’s Fantastic Final Olympic Results

Russia has succeeded beyond expectation at the Beijing Olympics. Their athletes have excelled in their divisions and have afforded Russia the honor of taking home a total of twenty-three gold medals, twenty-one silver medals and twenty-eight bronze medals. It is a magnificent achievement for the country, showing their dominance throughout the running of the Beijing Olympics. With a breathtaking 2008 Olympic campaign behind them, they will most definitely be working hard to achieve even more success, directing their focus on the next Olympic Games.

Bronze medals were achieved in archery, men’s high jump, women’s 3000m steeple chase, women’s basketball, canoe double for men, cycling women’s cross country, women’s high jump, women’s pole vault, boxing men’s fly division (51 kg), women’s heptathlon, men’s 50km walk, men’s 4 x 400m relay, weightlifting men’s 94kg, weightlifting men’s 105kg, weightlifting women’s 75kg, wrestling men’s freestyle 55kg, cycling men’s Madison, diving men’s synchronized 10m platform, shooting men’s 50m pistol, shooting men’s trap, gymnastics, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Russia has achieved greatness at the Beijing Olympics, and will be back, with more determination.
