Foreign Embassies in Russia

Every country is home to many different foreign embassies, and also has their own embassies abroad. Embassies are placed in various countries to offer assistance and services to foreign nationals. As with the embassies in Russia, each performs a variety of services and some have consulates within the same country for further assistance. It is always advisable to find out the limitations of assistance performed by the certain embassies in Russia, as most do have limitations to what they are able to assist with.

Most foreign embassies are able to aid with general services such as emergency assistance, the replacement of passports, visa applications, absentee voting and being able to supply general information in regard to the country they are located in. Many travelers contact their country’s embassy in a foreign country to learn about their laws, transport and general safety issues. Almost all the foreign embassies in Russia are located in Moscow, with consulates in other cities.

Here are some of the embassies known to be in Russia. They include Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Poland, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
