Any visa assessing and processing that you may require can be handled by the British Embassy in Moscow and by the Consulates in Ekaterinburg and St. Petersburg. The UK Visa Application Centers will handle any visa submissions or collections required. The St Petersburg Visa Application Centre can be found at 54 Shpalernaya Street, Shpalernaya Business Centre, First Floor at Office 24. The opening hours of the St Petersburg Centre are from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm. The Ekaterinburg Centre can be found at 24 Prospect Lenina or 8 Vainera at Office 106 or 107. If you require passport information you can contact the Consular Section at the British Embassy on +7 (495) 956 7301/7302/7243 or fax them at +7 (495) 956 7328. The working hours of the Consular Section is at 08:00 am to 13:00 pm from Mondays to Fridays. The British Embassy can assist you with lost, stolen and recovered passports, but it is imperative that you contact the police under these circumstances first before contacting the Embassy.

The Consular Section can issue emergency passports; help you get in contact with lawyers, doctors and interpreters; contact relatives and friends on your behalf to ask for help with tickets or money; provide emergency cash up to £100; and help you register the birth of your child in Moscow among many other things.

Jessica Hand, the Consul-General, looks after the Consular Section of the British Embassy. This section of the embassy looks after British citizens who are living or visiting the Moscow Consular District. You can contact the Consular Section after working hours and on any of the public holidays and a Duty Officer will respond within the hour. The number you can use is +7 (495) 956 7200. Please make note that if you need assistance from the Consular Section you must first inform the Guard or Visa Marshall.
