Russian Art Cards FINAL CUT

In 1982 I traveled to the Soviet Union as a member of a US delegation of four scientists. We met with Russian colleagues at the IV Kurchatov Insititute in Moscow for several days, then took the Red Arrow overnight express train to Leningrad, now St. Petersburg. There we had further scientific meetings with Russian colleagues at the Ioffe Institute. During one free day we toured the Hermitage. Somewhere on this trip I purchased a collection of Art Gallery post cards at one of the famous Beriozka stores. A memorable experience for a young scientist. There were only two such exchanges between the US and USSR in the year 1982.
