Lee myung bak to Fly to Russia Followed by Trip to France for G20
Source Arirang President Lee Myung-bak will fly to Russia Tuesday afternoon for a bilteral summit followed by a trip to France to attend this year's Cannes G20 summit. During his two-day stay in St. Petersburg, Russia President Lee will hold a one-on-one with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on measures to boost strategic cooperative partnership economic collaboration and regional matters involving North Korea's nuclear issue. He is also highly expected to exchange views on a trilateral economic cooperation project that aims at building a pipeline to carry Russian natural gas through North Korea to the South. On Wednesday the Korean leader will then fly to France for a three-day visit to take part in G20 Summit in Cannes and deliver a keynote speech at the G20 Business Summit on the eve of the actual summit on corporations' role to overcome the ongoing crisis.
