Russia-St Petersburg-Cathedral of the Resurrection
The Cathedral of the Resurrection standing on the Griboyedov Canal, St Petersburg. This memorial church was constructed in 1883-1907 on the spot where on 1 March 1881 Ignaty Grinevitsky, a terrorist of the People's Will organization, mortally wounded Alexander III. So the cathedral owes its second, commonly used name," Our Saviour-on-the-Spilled-Blood"
