Hello, can you hear me mother. This self penned tune is called "I Love You So Much" It was written on new years day January 1st 1989 in Mombasa Kenya in a hungover state following a phone call at midnightish to my sweetheart back in England promising that I will come straight over to her place as soon as we return. Must admit they certainly now how to celebrate the new year in Mombasa! Not forgeting that I'ts too hot to sleep! How does it go: The roads are all closed and the horses have bolted, the storm tears the sky and the runways are flooded. The bicycle's buckled, the boat has no sails, the phone lines are cut and the trains are derailed. But I have to see you, I have to be with you, because I love you (repeat) so much. Log cabins are covered in blankets of snow, the mountain behind me, not further to go. The huskies before me have one final run and we'll all be resting in the warmth of your welcome. Soon I'll be cosy with the woman that chose me and I'll say I love you (repeat) so much. So fine the situation you and I in hibernation, hold me while the snow falls down (repeat) Sunshine, celebration, you and I too high to mention, holidays in summertime (repeat). Everywhere that I turn, the view is the same, the wind stirs the desert sand and the camels are lame. But I know I'll find you and I will remind you that - I love you (repeat) so much.
