Ordinary Life in Extraordinary Times: Soviet Union [15:22]
Some of the daily life for the average citizens in the Soviet Union in the 70's-80's. The little girl in the video is me at the age of 2, 4 and 5. Filmed in Mitishi, the little, industrial town, not far from Moscow. You could see several children playgrounds near my house, Town Park with some old carousels called 'Daisy' and 'Boats'. The second part of the film was made in Moscow at the All-Russia Exhibition Centre/Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy. The exhibition place had about 80 pavilions and area of 700000 square metres. Each pavilion had been dedicated to a particular industry or a field. You could see Central Pavilion and Space Pavilion in the film. I want to say a big thank you to Alexandr Valinov who is an operator and director of the film. Great job. Directed, produced by Alexandr Valinov.

Saint Basil's Cathedral on the Red Square, Moscow Russian culture started from that of East Slavs, who were largely polytheists, and had a specific way of life in the wooden areas of Eastern Europe. The Scandinavian Vikings, or Varangians, also took part in the forming of Russian identity and state in the early Kievan Rus' period of the late 1st millennium AD. Rus' had accepted the Orthodox Christianity from the East Roman Empire in 988, and this largely defined the Russian culture of next millennium as the synthesis of Slavic and Byzantine cultures.[52] After the fall of Constantinople in 1453, Russia remained the largest Orthodox nation in the world and claimed succession to the Byzantine legacy in the form of the Third Rome idea. At different points of its history, the country also was strongly influenced by the European Culture, and since Peter the Great reforms Russian culture largely developed in the context of the Western culture. For most of the 20th century, the Marxist ideology shaped the culture of the Soviet Union, where Russia, or Russian SFSR, was the largest and leading part. Russian culture is extremely various and unique in many aspects. It has a rich history and can boast a long tradition of excellence in every aspect of arts,[53] especially when it comes to literature[54] and philosophy, classical music[55][56] and ballet,[57 ...

Moscow International Investment Show 2012 [02:40]
The Moscow International Investment Show is an original project of aiGroup, rather relevant in times of the world economic crisis. When both corporate and private investors are racking their brain over proper investment instruments, the review of overseas property markets and information on prospective investment bids are in particular demand. From this perspective the idea of an investment show, successfully tried in autumn 2007 and since then held twice a year in March and October, appears a timely initiative. The Moscow International Investment Show gathers leading overseas property experts. Developers, real estate agents and brokers, banks and management companies will present their best projects, high-quality analytics and economic forecasts. The investment show offers its visitors a chance to obtain professional advice on most lucrative investments and learn about up-to-date methods of asset management and capital appreciation. Most diverse property bids from 40 countries will be introduced at the show by 180 companies. Experts point out that in times of instability many private and corporate investors look for new ways of capital management and often turn their eyes to international property markets. This is why real estate investments abroad were made the main theme of this show. It should be noted that the Moscow show attracts a large number of visitors. The event is geared towards investors of different scale. Both property analysts and ordinary citizens willing ...

2012 OLYMPICS 15000 TROOPS NEEDED TO KEEP IT SAFE !!! [02:17]
The snares are shattered when God inspires good thoughts, and when the heart desires to have the intention of fleeing base acts and of doing deeds that are pleasing to God. The enemy's din gets dispelled when the soul is discreetly penitent and has the intention of not repeating confessed sins. Know that the devil not only raises a din and clatter for people hostile to God but even for God's friends. You may understand this better by way of a comparison. A maiden was once speaking with a man when a curtain appeared between them. The man saw it indeed, but not the maiden. At the end of their conversation, the maiden lifted up her eyes and saw the curtain. Frightened, she said to herself: 'God help me so that I may not be deceived by the snares of the enemy!' When the bridegroom saw the maiden's sadness, he removed the curtain and showed her the truth of the whole matter. Similarly, perfect persons may receive divine inspirations, but then the devil raises a din whenever they get puffed up with sudden pride or become downcast with excessive fear or tolerate the sins of others with inordinate condescension or grow weak through excessive joy or sadness. The bride's words of prayer and praise to Christ and the Virgin. The Virgin's consoling reply to the daughter, showing her that God in his righteous decision often lets his power become more manifest through the lies of the devil. And about how tribulations lead to spiritual benefits. SAINT BRIDGET PATRON SAINT OF EUROPE BOOK ...
