To fail to find a way in a city is an ordinary thing. Another matter is to lose your way there, like you do in a forest. This requires practice. Walter Benjamin "Childhood in Berlin at the Turn of the Century" Losing your way in your own city is next to impossible: you need to possess Benjamin's skills of a flaneur to stray from your habitual routes. Hanging around without any certain purpose is a task hardly feasible for the modern city dweller. A lonely walk is, rather, an attribute of literature, a true companion of romantics and melancholics, not of people always in a hurry on some extremely important business. At the very moment when an imaginary city map with a fantastic topography starts to form in Benjamin's mind, Maxim Ksuta shifts his gaze upwards, and his routes lie in a different plane where the sky of the city is lined with electric wires turning it into a graphic surface. Fussy reality seems to draw back, the space is cleaned to a near sterility — before us there are "sheets" which resemble either works by the American minimalists — from Agnes Martin to Fred Sandbeck, or the static compositions of the Russian constructivists. The comparison with minimalism in this case is far from being casual: Ksuta's works come in a series. The same theme can be endlessly and naturally varied — the artist consciously uses his means sparingly, intensifying at the same time the effect of recognizing more than just specific electric cables in abstract lines and spirals. Yakutsk Siberia coldest place - Sled dogs at -50 degrees - Якутск Чочур Моран [02:48]
These dogs can face extremely cold temperatures that can easily reach -50 or -60 degrees in January and February. This is the coldest inhabited place on Earth: Yakutsk, East Siberia, Russia. They work the whole year in a luxurious restaurant called "Chochur Murán" the whole day, in order to entertain tourists in those sled dog tours, and wneh their day is over they are chained and forced to spend the night in this extremely unbearable low temperature. I made this film at 4:00 pm, when it's getting dark, and the responsibles for them had already gone.They had no food, no shelter, and I noticed they kept on raising their feet, one at a time, taking turns, in an effort to warm each foot at a time. When I made this movie yesterday, it was -42 degrees, so you can imagine what it feels like when it's minus 55. They have to sleep there, do everything at the same place, every single day, the whole year. While I was making the movie my whole fce froze and I could barely speak. While you are at this very moment at the warmth of your house, those dogs are there, surely trembling, feeling pain, hunger and solitude. I came to this place as a tourist, but my trip ended when I got to this place. I go back home begging for help. I can do nothing alone, so I ask you to join together, and lets us do something for this dogs. Yakutks say "this will be in vain". Because they use fur on the whole body, and they strongly believe animals are here to fulfill men's need. But I believe that ...

Llegué al Fin del Fin de todo... Llegué al final de la Ruta Nacional Número 3 que comienza en la Capital Federal, que es la Capital de la República Argentina llamada también "Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires". Luego de atravesar casi toda la Provincia de Buenos Aires, el extremo Este de la Provincia de Río Negro, todo el Este de la Provincia de Chubut, todo el Este y el Sur de la Provincia de Santa Cruz y todo el Este y Centro de la porción Oriental de la Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego (la parte argentina), la Ruta Nacional Número 3 culmina en la entrada a la Bahía Lapataia... Es la Segunda Ruta más larga del país, luego de la Ruta Nacional número 40 que comienza en la Provincia de Jujuy y termina en la Provincia de Santa Cruz...casi llega a la Provincia de Tierra del Fuego...casi, casi, casi...
