Starving in Russia [02:30]
I was amazed by the variety, extraordinary quality and low cost of Russian food. In American grocery stores there is never anything wholesome or decent to eat and of course it's overpriced. In Russia a person can have an endless choice of non-pasteurized organic dairy, juices and meat at insanely low prices when calculated in US dollars.

Produkti Russia [02:47]
First, there is this old soviet truck parked in front of the countryside grocery : the driver boasts that it has been used in Afghanistan and made all the way back to Ruissia.... This truck seems extremely rustic and quite reliable in that sense, except that it mus be a gas-guzzling vehicule. The building houses something which is a staple of the Russian (and formerly Soviet) back country : Produkti means products and it is actually a grocery store with almost the same feel and flavors than in the soviet times : few products, mostly basic commodities and a not very friendly shop clerk. But this is Russia, and I love it !
