Qui a Gorizy giungono da tutto il mondo, per acqua e per terra, i pellegrini per onorare i santi Cirillo e Feropont; vengono a cercare pace dell'anima, verità e forza. Gli abitanti di Vologda osservano religiosamente i costumi e le tradizioni del nord della Russia. Qui ogni estate si incontrano varie generazioni per non recidere il filo del tempo, perche' l'albero della vita porti i suoi frutti. Ma l'inverno a nord è lungo. La vita è dunque piena di battute di caccia e avventure. Nonno Gelo, il Babbo Natale russo, possiede la sua tenuta nel territorio di Vologda. Per tutti, grandi e piccoli.
