Brighton Beach, nicknamed Little Odessa after the Ukrainian city on the Black Sea, boasts the largest Russian-speaking population in the United States. Here, you may feel you need a translator, or a tour guide, like Dave Garbarskiy. Onward down Brighton Beach Avenue, at M & I International Food, locals stock up on fresh-made breads and other provisions. While there, also sample Russian-style eats like cured cold cuts, variations of pickled fish, and Pir-oj-ki: fried pastries with either a savory or a sweet-filled center. Fresh apricot or mango juices often accompany meals at cafes, and you can sample a variety of dishes for under ten dollars. Of course everyone in Russia needs a fur coat, and maybe a fox fur hat, as warm as they are stylish. Luckily, David's uncle owns a store down the street! When you commit to long train rides to the outskirts of New York City, you'll be amazed by the things you discover. It's not necessarily that Brighton Beach looks like Russia - it looks like any other neighborhood in Brooklyn. Sicile : le diable pyromane ? Dans un village de Sicile, des incendies sont provoqués de manière inexplicable... Certaines personnes pensent que c'est le diable le responsable !!!Une petite commune sicilienne coincée entre la mer et une ligne de chemin de fer est le théâtre d'incendies "mystérieux", Départs de feux inexpliqués, appareils électroménagers brûlés à la suite de court-circuits, compteurs électriques carbonisés: les habitants de Cannetto, un quartier de la commune de Caronia, 3.000 habitants, dans la province de Messine, sont exaspérés, car tout cela échappe à leur entendement.... Des réfrigérateurs, des fours, des télévisions, des machines à laver, des téléphones mobiles et des meubles ont brûlés sans aucune raison apparente dans une douzaine de maisons dans le village sicilien de Canneto di Caronia près de Messine. Les autorités ont au commencement suspecté que les feux aient été provoqués par les câbles aériens sur une ligne ferroviaire voisine, mais les manifestations ont continuées même après que l'approvisionnement de l'électricité du village ai été découpé, menant quelques gens du pays à blâmer les forces surnaturelles. Pedro Spinnato, maire du village, a demandé l'évacuation aussi loin qu'il puisse être effectué. "cela dure depuis trois semaines et il n'y a aucune explication.
