Bonanza (Serie de TV) -Sangre en la Tierra- 4° Parte "Alta Definición" [08:31]
Bonanza se filmó entre 1958 y 1974, narrando las aventuras de la familia Cartwright, formada por Ben, tres veces viudo, y sus hijos Adam, Hoss y Joe, uno de cada una de sus esposas. El mapa de La Ponderosa, el enorme rancho de los Cartwright, aparecía al comienzo de cada episodio, mientras sonaba la conocida música de la serie. La Ponderosa (izquierda) es hoy un atractivo turístico hacia el que parten excursiones desde Lake Tahoe y Reno. Lo mismo sucede con el escenario de Virginia City (arriba), la ciudad vecina a La Ponderosa. Pernell Roberts se alejó de la serie en 1966, mientras que Dan Blocker falleció en 1972. En la última temporada participaron solamente Lorne Greene y Michael Landon, acompañados por Victor Sen Yung, que representó en todas las temporadas al cocinero chino Hop Sing; Ray Teal, el Sheriff Roy Coffee de Virginia City a partir de la segunda temporada; David Canary, en el papel de "Candy" Canaday, un vaquero de confianza agregado al elenco en 1967 para suplir la ausencia de Roberts, y Mitch Vogel como Jamie Hunter, un adolescente protegido por los Cartwright en las últimas temporadas.
